How to learn which roads are flooded

The Regional Transportation Authority and Pima Association of Governments operate a website that shows real-time traffic information based on reporting from local law enforcement agencies and transportation departments, including flood conditions.

During Monsoon, the Transview.org site includes road closures due to flooding (red circles) and areas where drivers should proceed with caution (red and white triangles) because there may be flowing water or debris on the roadway.

Throughout the year, the site shows real-time crash data from police and sheriff responses, letting the region know where traffic may be impacted by a crash that blocks part of a roadway.

Local transportation departments also can submit information about ongoing road projects to alert drivers throughout the region. Traffic cameras along interstates 10 and 19 also are visible by clicking on the camera icon on the map.
