The Grant Road improvement project from Alvernon Way to Swan Road has begun.
These sections of Grant Road are phases 3 and 4 of the Regional Transportation Authority’s Grant Road, Oracle Road to Swan Road, project, which voters approved as part of the 2006 RTA plan.
Major work on the roadway will commence in May. Planned improvements include six travel lanes, landscaped medians, buffered bike lanes, sidewalks, transit stop upgrades, indirect left turns and protected intersection improvements at Alvernon Way and Grant Road.
