The multi-jurisdictional Sunset Road project will link Silverbell Road with River Road to create a new corridor for travelers. The final project will include bridges over Santa Cruz and Rillito rivers and complete a new interchange at Interstate 10.
The project was incorporated into construction of the Arizona Department of Transportation’s Sunset Road traffic interchange. When completed, the community will have new option for travelling from interior regions to the Tucson Mountain foothills areas.
