Public outreach on the project has begun. An open house is scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2026, from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Pima Community College Downton Campus’ Amethyst Community Room (255 N. Stone Ave.)
Representatives for the project will also be at the Rillito Park Farmers Market on Sunday, November 9 from 9:00 a.m. to noon
The project is an approximately five-mile-long bus rapid transit project between the Tohono T’adai Transit Center in northern Tucson and the Ronstadt Transit Center in Downtown Tucson.
The project will improve transit reliability in this already high-ridership corridor, benefit a highly transit dependent corridor population, and support economic and transit-oriented development.
